Low carbohydrate food is not difficult

You hear about many diets: you can’t keep up with this? Low carbohydrate food, on the other hand, is easy to do. Said before, it is more a lifestyle than a diet. Most Dutch people are used to having breakfast with cereals (bread, muesli, cruesli, crackers), having lunch with cereals and fruit and eating potatoes with their vegetables and meat or fish during the evening meal.

The daily menu usually contains around three carbohydrate-rich moments. The cookies and snacks left aside. A low-carbohydrate diet that many people adhere to can be introduced at a single moment of the day into a carbohydrate-rich eating moment by preferably eating your carbohydrates within one hour. It is not intended that you eat that hour full of all unhealthy things, but you can choose to have your potatoes, eat sandwiches or pasta at that time (preferably whole-grain varieties). It also ensures that you do not build up a shortage of carbohydrates. However, the low-carbohydrate moments of the day can also be filled with delicious snacks. It may take some getting used to, but you will find that you ultimately have more energy and a longer saturated feeling and that you can still eat well.
